Cellulases and Hemicelullases

Cellulases are enzymes that break down cellulose.
Hemicellulases are enzymes that break down material typically associated with or attached to cellulose. This category includes xylanase, arabinoxylanase, beta-glucanase, beta-mannanase, pectinase, arabinase, pectin methylesterase, pectin lyase, and polygalacturonases.

Cellulases:

ENZECO® CELLULASE CE-3
A liquid food grade cellulase preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly T. reesei). This enzyme contains very high levels of endo-cellulase activity for hydrolysis of plant materials. It also contains a significant level of β-glucanase.

Application: Fruit and vegetable juices • Breakdown of plant materials to improve extraction yields, reduce viscosity, and increase solubility.

MULTIZYME® CELLULASE CEP
A powdered food grade cellulase preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly T. reesei) for use in animal feed. This product contains very high levels of endo-cellulase activity with a high cellulose-binding domain for hydrolysis of plant materials. It also contains significant amounts of beta-glucanase, xylanase, and protease.

Application: Animal Feed

ENZECO® CELLULASE FG
A powdered food-grade cellulase preparation derived from Aspergillus niger. This product also contains high levels of beta-glucanase, mannanase and pectinase side activities.

ENZECO® CELLULASE TR CONCENTRATE
A food-grade fungal cellulase preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum that is high in cellulase and β-glucanase activity.

Activity assays: Endo Cellulase Units (ECU)

Beta-glucanases:

ENZECO® BX+BG
An enzyme preparation from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly T. reesei), that contains a concentrated amount of xylanase, cellulase, and β-glucanase. The primary application for this product is treating wheat for bakery applications.

Application: Baking

Hemicellulases:

ENZECO® MANNANASE CONCENTRATE
A powdered food-grade enzyme preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Aspergillus niger. It contains significant amounts of hemicellulase, mannanase, guarase, xylanase and also has some cellulase and β-glucanase.

Pectinases:

ENZECO® PECTINASE DV-2
A liquid pectolytic food-grade enzyme preparation for is derived from the Aspergillus species for use in fruit juice and winemaking.

ENZECO® PECTINASE DV-3
A liquid food grade enzyme preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Aspergillus niger that contains high pectinase activities (polygalacturonase, arabinose, pectin methylesterase), as well as cellulase and hemicellulase activities.

Application: Fruit juicing • Winemaking • Vegetable extracts • Other applications where pectin needs to be broken down

A powdered food grade enzyme preparation derived from a non-GMO strain of Aspergillus niger that contains high pectinase activity, as well as cellulase and hemicellulase activities.

Xylanases:

ENZECO® XYLANASE S CONCENTRATE
Xylanases S Concentrate is our highest xylanase activity product. It is a food-grade enzyme preparation from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly T. reesei), containing xylanase as its principal activity. It also contains β-glucanase, galactomannanase, and cellulase, and has very little protease activity.

ENZECO® XYLANASE S200
A food-grade enzyme preparation containing derived from a non-GMO strain of Trichoderma longibrachiatum (formerly T. reesei), where the xylanase activity has been standardized to standardized to 200,000 units/gram.

Application: Baking • Vegetable Extracts • Accelerates hull separation from grain.
